After trying out my new camera in various settings over the last three months, I decided to write my own Nikon D300S review to share with others like you just what I think about this camera. Like so many other people, I read a ton of reviews before I bought my own camera because we all have ended up at one time or another with a less than fabulous camera that just seems to let us down. Life’s memories are just too valuable to miss capturing in full, vivid color, and so I wanted to buy the best I could find.
What This Camera Offers
In my Nikon D300S review, I want to focus on a few of the different features of this camera that really stood out to me before I bought it. It has features like a 12.3-megapixel DX format CMOS image sensor, a 920,000 dot LCD monitor, an advanced auto focus system, a 24 frames per second, 720p HD video function, and more. Altogether, this was a camera that promised a lot in terms of high-speed, high-quality image function for stills and video alike. The reviews that I read on it did seem to indicate that it lived up to its many promises, and so after much research and deliberation I decided to get this one.
Using the Camera
As I mentioned earlier in my Nikon D300S review, I have owned this camera for several months now, and I have had plenty of opportunities to test it out fully in both indoor and outdoor situations with both the still and the videos. Altogether, I have been more than impressed with the results. The images come out absolutely beautiful, and the sound quality on the video is pretty spectacular, too. The controls are easy to access, and so I have not yet found myself fiddling with features and trying to access the camera’s different modes while memories slip by. It has been a true pleasure to use so far, and I do recommend it to others who want a high quality camera.
